These A and F Machine Product Pumps (helwigpumps) are ideal for use in chemical feed to boilers, waste water treatment, the pulp and paper industry and related applications where a controlled volume of chemical treatment is required. These heavy duty piston metering pumps are built for minimum maintenance from quality materials. The pump end of the unit utilizes a precision inline machined casting for minimum wear and strength. The pump is driven by a continuous duty oil filled speed reducer which is available in several ratios for the required stroking rate. The wet end of the pump is precision machined and utilizes a ground stainless steel piston to minimize packing wear. The check valves are of the double ball check design to insure accurate metering. Various piston sizes are available to give a wide range of volume outputs. The output of the pump is varied from zero to maximum by manually adjusting the piston stroke length or, automatically with a variable speed motor and controller option. All the various piston head sizes are interchangeable which makes application changes in the field simple. The standard simplex pump can readily be converted to a duplex pump in the field. Multiple head pumps can be fitted with identical heads or different sized heads for custom applications. All V-10 pumps & V-5 pumps are supplied with a pressure relief valve for each pump head. The V-7 piston pump is a compact unit designed for lighter metering applications
