This Antifreeze / Coolant and Battery Fluid Charge Level Hand-Held Analog Refractometer can be used for measuring battery fluid specific gravity (charge level) and the freezing temperature of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol that are used as coolant / antifreeze mixtures for automobiles or as thermal catalyst for solar power systems.

EG freezing point: 32 to -60°F (accuracy ±2.0°F)

Specific Gravity (battery fluid): 1.150 - 1.300 (Charge Level: Recharge-Fair-Good)
This refractometer can be used for measuring the freezing point of Ethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol and also measuring Battery Fluid specific gravity (charge level).
