Atago 3251 RX-5000 Automatic Digital Bench Top Refractometer

The RX-5000 digital refractometer has been developed to meet user demands for fast, easy and accurate measurement. The RX-5000 measures samples for refractive index and Brix(%) (±0.00004 for nD, ±0.03% for Brix) in just four seconds. For most measurements, only two of the five operation keys are needed. In spite of the unit's compact size and light weight, performance has not been sacrificed. The RX-5000 is the desired refractometer for today's industrial demands. The RX-5000 is approximately one-half the size and weight of previous models (ATAGO RX-1000 and RX-3000). The time needed for measurement has been cut to just four seconds, three times faster than previous models (ATAGO RX-1000 and RX-3000). The ease of measurement that characterizes the RX-5000 increases efficiency and makes work easier. Most operations can be carried out with just two of the unit's five keys. All data, including date, time, current temperature, measurement result, measurement temperature, etc., are clearly shown on the large display.

Applications:
For testing the quality and refinement of raw materials at the time of purchase or delivery. For controlling liquid waste and products during the production process. Sample measurement modes: Refractive index nD for the measurement of petrochemicals, refined oil products, crude oil, heavy oil, animal fat and oil, spices, perfumes, chemicals, industrial chemicals, medical supplies, organic solvents, etc. Brix% (sugar content or soluble solid) for the measurement of soft drinks, fruit juices, coffee, condensed milk, canned syrup, seasonings, jams, sauces, soups, etc.
