The Atago UG-alpha now features a display of the measurement value of Urine Specific Gravity to 4 decimal places. With this improved feature, the UG-alpha will now satisfy those end-users in the medical and clinical fields that have requested a urine specific gravity refractometer that can measure and display the measurement value to 4 - decimal places.
This refractometer features an automatic temperature compensating digital urine specific gravity refractometer with measuring time of 2 seconds. It has a compact handheld design and convenient automatic digital LCD for easy reading. The main body is ABS resin, and the sample stage is made of high rust resistant stainless steel. Zero scale (calibration) is easy using distilled water.

The UG-alpha is a compact Urine Specific Gravity refractometer with a four decimal point digital display. Operation is simple. Just add a sample to the prism and press the START key. The measured value of Urine specific gravity is displayed by using only a single drop of urine.
Replaces the discontinued model 3461 UG-1.
Includes: protective storage case, 9V battery and owner's manual.
