Saccharoflex 2000 BrochureSACCHAROFLEX 2000 Automatic ColorimeterThe S+H SACCHAROFLEX 2000 is a highly-accurate electronic reflectance meter for the automatic color grading of crystal sugar based on the ICUMSA methods GS2-11 (1994) & GS2-13 (1994).
This instrument measures the reflectance factors at 495nm and 620nm and calculates the corresponding ICUMSA color type units (CTU). Measurements are based on Taylor’s law and an integrated sphere. To decrease measurement instabilities caused by inhomogenity of samples, large sample surfaces are used.
For calibration, Braunschweig color type 0 + 6 standards are all that are necessary. The S+H SACCHAROFLEX 2000 can conduct readings up to 19.99 CTU. All measurements are displayed on the large LCD display and settings are controlled via the 4-button keypad.
The adjustable working voltage provides a high service life of the illumination unit which affords long lamp working life. In addition, the halogen lamp is controlled by a power saving switch which prevents the SACCHAROFLEX 2000 from heating up to allow continuous operation without any problems.
The use of highly-integrated circuits with energy efficience and easily replaceable consumable parts ensure the user of a exceptionally reliable and easily maintainable measurement system of crystal sugar.
