Controlled Release Technologies First Strike Micro Coat treatment is a HVAC evaporator coil clear coating that is designed to help keep coils continuously clean by protecting the coil surface and effectively preventing the accumulation of deposits on the coil. The special clear coat formulation fills in fin pitting caused by common aggressive coil cleaners and provides protection against the corrosive effects of condensation water, which helps coils last longer.
First Strike Micro Coat bonds ionically to the coil fins, forming a low friction clear molecular shield that also maintains the cooling efficiency of the coil. The clear coating shield fills existing pits on the fin surface and provides a protective barrier against future pitting and metal erosion that normally occurs. By creating a smooth surface on the coil fins, condensation and debris fall easily to the drip pan without building biological growth sites. The cooling efficiency and air flow are maximized which reduces long term energy costs.
