Controlled Release Technologies PanGuard Timed-Released treatment for HVAC system drip pans is an unique blend of surfactants and wetting agents in a non-dissolving polymer base bar. PanGuard treatment is designed to help keep condensate pans continuously clean by effectively preventing the accumulation of deposits in the drip pan.
As condensate water falls from the evaporator coil into the drip pan and comes in contact with PanGuard. The ingredients in PanGuard are slowly released into the water causing the impurities to disperse and stay suspended in the water; unable to adhere to the surface of the drip pan. While suspended, the impurities easily flow to the drain and away. The drain does not clog as the impurities never have opportunity to settle which typically causes fouling of the drain and drain line.
Cleans from corner to corner. Slim design; flexible for unique application. No discernable shelf life. Does not dissolve. Labor saving and economical. Easy to use. Activated by water.
