General DescriptionPulsafeeder PULSAtron Series D digital chemical metering pumps are positive displacement, diaphragm type pumps. Output volume is adjustable while pumps are in operation from zero to maximum capacity. The PULSAtron Series D easy to set up with scrolling menus that appear on the easy to read 16 digit LCD backlit display. The front panel features a four button touch pad control with internationally recognized symbols for simplified programming. Series D pumps continue to meet their specifications for pressure and capacity even during extend use. This is due to our high quality solenoid and special enclosure that effectively dissipates heat.
Pump ControlsAdjustment is by means of readily accessible touch pad with display for stroke frequency and all other programmable features (Priming, Manual - Fixed speed, Pace operation - water meter input (Dry Contact or Hall Effect), water meter Totallizer, and Stop input (optional flow switch, etc). The touch pad is located opposite the liquid handling end.
Drive AssemblyThe pump drive is totally enclosed with no exposed moving parts. Electronics are housed in chemical resistant enclosure at the rear of the pump for maximum protection against chemical spillage. Average electrical power consumption is 50 Watts.
Materials of ConstructionSee Specifications tab. Chemical metering pump housing shall be of chemically resistant PBT thermoplastic. All exposed fasteners are stainless steel. Valve seat and seal ring are renewable by replacing the cartridge valve assembly.
