The VanGuard 1100AML Series Compound Microscopes feature DIN optics, the choice of 4 different viewing heads, mechanical stages, and LED illumination. An excellent choice for schools, veterinarians, and industrial applications.
The 1100AMH Series features 4 viewing heads: monocular, dual-monocular, binocular (Sliding), and trinocular (Sliding) heads. These viewing heads rotate 360° and are inclined at 45°. Binocular and trinocular heads also feature dioptric (-5 to +5) & interpupillary adjustment (53-72mm/2.1-2.8in) mechanisms. Eyepieces are 10X Widefield (DIN) with a field number of 18.
The stage of the microscope is graduated, integrated mechanically (120x120mm/4.7x4.7in); left hand coaxial drop-down X-Y controls and 25x60mm movable range. Focusing movement is separate coarse and fine focus controls featuring a slip-clutch mechanism which protects the gears from damage by allowing the knobs to turn even when the stage has reached the upper/lower travel stops; also includes a tension control mechanism.
Also featured in the 1100AML series models are - 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and swing-in filter holder (focusable with a forward-positioned lever), LED illumination which come with blue and neutral density filters (0.5A,250V fuse), 110V, a stable 195x150mm (7.8x5.9in) base fitted with anti-skid rubber feet, and a cast-metal body with stain-resistant enamel finish.
