Dynalon®, plastic, premium graduated cylinders are manufactured under strict control. These glass-clear tall-form cylinders are calibrated "to contain" and are Class A per DIN 12681 and ISO 6706. Each cylinder is manually checked and marked with an H" to confirm premium tolerance has been achieved. These cylinders are manufactured from virgin PMP (polymethylpentene) to provide window clear transparency and outstanding chemical compatibility. PMP can be sterilized using all common methods including autoclaving*.
Safety first...Plastic cylinders will not shatter like glass. They are the ideal replacement for glass cylinders in production environments where broken glass would contaminate production, i.e. food and beverage production, pharmaceutical, chemical, and semiconductor industries. Replacement costs due to breakage are also greatly reduced. Each cylinder (except the 10mL) is supplied complete with a certificate.
*Repeated autoclaving will affect accuracy.
