Not that easy to use, but have little other choice

Make sure you get the ones with the prescored starburst with the hole in the center if you are planning on having any autosampler pierce the cap. Otherwise, you will end up with a bunch of errors or broken needles.
The caps are very small. They are about the same size as the regular 12X32 vial caps. Do note that they are not completely sealed. There is a small hole in the center of the cap. This facilitates the splitting when the needle punctures it. They are also really hard to put onto the shell vials and nearly impossible to grab cleanly with forceps. So, if you are using these for precise clean analytical chemistry, make sure you are prepared to use lots of force the caps onto the vials and to lose a few caps in the process. There used to be a tool to do this work, however, it is no longer available at the manufacturer.
It would be great to be able to purchase less than 1000. I purchased 1000 and they arrived in bags of 100, why they couldn't be shipped in smaller amounts?
