The Lovibond® Type 235 pH Electrode is a high‑performance glass/gel electrode engineered for demanding water analysis applications in both laboratory and mobile environments. Its chemical‑resistant glass housing provides superior durability and easier cleaning compared to plastic‑body electrodes. A dual‑chamber electrolyte system protects the ceramic diaphragm from clogging, especially in samples containing sulfides or other contaminants that can interfere with Ag/AgCl reference systems.
The electrode includes a storage bottle with a rubber seal to keep the pH‑sensitive glass membrane hydrated and protected during long‑term storage. Temperature compensation is performed manually or via an external Lovibond® SD temperature sensor. The universal BNC connector ensures compatibility with Lovibond® SD300 and SD305 meters as well as any pH meter with a standard BNC input.
