General Description
Pulsafeeder’s MEC-O-MATIC VSP series variable speed peristaltic metering pump offers a dispenser head which is molded of highly chemical resistant polycarbonate and is designed to snap on and off without tools. MEC-O-MATIC’s self-lubricating roller assembly, included in the head assembly, makes possible long tubing life and the unique quick release, twist off head makes tubing replacement simple and fast. Pump Controls
The pump is equiped with a ON-OFF rocker switch and Variable Speed Control Potentiometer. The potentiometer provides Variable Speed Control: 15-100% (of 14 RPM) to decrease or increase the gear motor speed to regulate chemical metering.
Drive Assembly
The heavy duty shaded pole DC driven gear motor is safe, quiet and dependable. All metal gearing parts are heat-treated and the output shaft is supported by heavy-duty bearings.
Materials of Construction
See Specifications tab. The compact, ABS injection-molded housing and pump head offer both affordability and chemical resistance. The feeder head is molded of UV and acid resistant polycarbonate and is designed to snap on and off without tools. All exposed fasteners are stainless steel. Peristaltic tubing is renewable by replacement.
