Provides for sealing against the body of the valve allowing for solution to flow in only one direction.
The Pulsafeeder In-Line Check Valve provides for sealing against the body of the valve allowing for solution to flow in only one direction. They are classified as on-way directional valves which set inside of the solution flow line. The mechanics of the check valve operation involves a ball that sits freely above the seat. When the pressure behind the seat exceeds that above the ball, the liquid is allowed to flow through the valve. But once the pressure above the ball exceeds the pressure below the seat, the ball returns to rest in the seat, forming a seal that prevents backward flow.
