The ATAGO® PAL‑BX | SALT+15 is a hybrid refractometer and salt meter designed to measure both Brix (concentration) and salt content simultaneously. Using an optical prism for Brix and a titanium electrode for salt, it enables precise balance evaluation between sweetness and saltiness—critical for taste profiling in sauces, broths, dressings, marinades, and other concentrated foods. The PAL‑BX | SALT+15 eliminates the need for dilution in high‑Brix samples by allowing user‑defined salt scales up to 28.50%.
