Built with a shock-resistant ABS plastic housing, this thermometer is engineered for use in demanding laboratory and plant environments. The included rubber boot protects the thermocouple connection and allows the instrument to maintain its waterproof rating while a probe is connected.

The REL (Relative) function enables differential temperature measurements by comparing current readings against a user-defined reference point. This feature is ideal for process verification, equipment testing, troubleshooting, and comparative temperature studies.

The large backlit display provides excellent visibility in dimly lit work areas, while Min/Max memory and Hold functions improve data collection and documentation. The microprocessor refreshes the display 2.5 times per second, ensuring users have access to current temperature readings.

Each Traceable® instrument includes an individually numbered Traceable® Certificate verifying accuracy from our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (1750.01) calibration laboratory, accredited by A2LA. Measurements are traceable to SI units through NIST or other recognized national measurement institutes (NMIs) that are signatories to the CIPM Mutual Recognition Agreement. This rigorous validation eliminates the need for separate calibration, saving both time and cost.

The included Type K beaded probe features a PTFE-coated cable and can be used continuously up to 260°C (500°F), making it suitable for a wide variety of industrial and laboratory applications.
