The stainless‑steel probe includes a silicone‑coated cable that withstands temperatures up to 260°C (500°F). Set temperature alarms in 1° increments. When temperature rises above the set point, a 5‑minute alarm sounds continuously, followed by a 5‑second alert every minute until the alarm is switched off or temperature returns to normal. The timer counts down from 24 hours in 1‑minute increments. When time expires, a 1‑minute alarm sounds, “Time’s Up” flashes, and the timer begins counting up. Press START/STOP to silence the alarm and return to the programmed setting.

The detachable curved stainless‑steel probe measures 8‑1/2″ long × 1/4″ diameter. The 42″ metal cable can be placed in ovens or incubators; do not immerse the cable in liquid.
