Readings are updated every second and displayed on a 3/8-inch LCD readout. Magnetic back allows for placement on a metal surface (incubators, freezers, water baths). Unit also incorporates flip-open easel for use on lab bench and spring fastener for clipping to any edge. Stainless-steel probe with piercing tip allows constant exposure to extreme temperatures at the ends of the range.
Traceable to NIST for accuracy
To assure accuracy an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided from our ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Full-Scale Thermometer Ultra model switchable temperature ranges are –58 to 572°F and –50 to 300°C. Resolution is 0.1° from –20° to 200 and 1° elsewhere.
