Disposable non-sterile glass fiber filtration media syringe filters feature Luer-Lok™ and pressure fitting. They are ultrasonically bonded for reliability and the filter media type is clearly inscribed on barrel. Excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency. The unique concentric funnel shaped barrel increases volume and decreases back pressure. Glass microfiber filter media is binderless with 1.0um retention. Use for viscose solutions or turbid liquids or as a prefilter in series with other syringe filters. Reduces clogging of the membrane, so ideal as a prefilter to increase throughput and flow rate. Ideal for dissolution testing and general filtration. Good compatibility with strong acids, bases and organic solvents.
