Generally used for volatile organic compound analysis and sample storage, 40mL VOA vials are available in amber borosilicate glass with patented .125" PTFE/Silicone Top Hat™ septa. The patented septa, designed by J.G. Finneran, provides a positive physical lock between the septa and closure to assure that preassembled components stay intact. The assembled vials are available Precleaned in accordance with recommended E.P.A. protocol.
CLASS 2: (Pre-cleaned) Containers are processed according to E.P.A. recommended wash procedures - Washed with laboratory-grade biodegradable, non-phosphate detergent; Rinsed with ASTM Type I De-ionized water; Oven dried; and Assembled in a contaminate-free environment. The exterior of each case is labeled with a lot number. Each case contains a copy of wash "Standard Operating Procedure".
