Lovibond D003 TTC/ROSE Dual Agar Dipslides - Aerobic Microorganisms (TVC) and Fungi, Molds and Yeasts (Pack of 10)
The TTC/Rose dipslides are for the detection of aerobic bacteria as well as yeast, molds and fungi, with nutrient agar on one side and Rose-Bengal agar on the other side of the paddle. Ideal for routine monitoring in petroleum applications. Users can detect growth quickly and can prevent fuel filter blockages and corrosion from acidic conditions in fuel storage tanks.
On the TTC side of the paddle, colonies appear as red spots when aerobic bacteria is present, which makes them easy to identify. On the Rose-Bengal agar of the paddle, yeasts molds and fungi will appear as red, pink, yellow or green spots (pink spots are most typical).
These do-it-yourself tests can be used in the field and deliver semi-quantitative results quickly – with no special training or need to send samples to a laboratory.
Dipslides have a working shelf life of 3-9 months.
Results are quantified by comparison to a standard density chart.
