The Lovibond® Type 226 pH Electrode is a durable, low‑maintenance plastic/gel electrode designed for reliable pH measurement in laboratory and field environments. Its gel electrolyte eliminates the need for refilling, while the dual ceramic diaphragm ensures fast response times—even in water samples with low ionic conductivity (≥ 100 µS/cm).
The rugged plastic housing protects the cylindrical glass membrane from mechanical damage, making the electrode suitable for routine water analysis, environmental monitoring, and mobile testing. The universal BNC connector allows compatibility with any pH meter equipped with a standard BNC socket. Temperature compensation is performed manually or via an external Lovibond™ SD temperature sensor.
