When attaching tubing, select the step in the barb that fits your tubing I.D. Cut off the excess extension of the fitting just below the desired size and attach the tubing. After excess is cut off, there is an unrestricted flow, the size of the tubing I.D. The molded polypropylene connectors are Ring diameters are 14, 12.5, 11, 9.5 and 7.9 mm (9/16, 1/2, 7/16, 3/8 and 5/16 inch).
