The Taylor 2000 Series™ Complete kit provides comprehensive pool and spa water analysis using high‑range FAS‑DPD testing and drop‑count titrations. The modular 2000 Series design allows users to expand their kit as testing needs grow, without purchasing duplicate components. Each kit includes Taylor’s premium comparator block with raised fill marks, frosted backing for uniform color perception, and dilution guides for handling high sanitizer levels.
The FAS‑DPD method measures free and combined chlorine directly to 0.2 ppm, with a clear endpoint from vibrant pink to colorless—ideal for high sanitizer levels and colorblind users. All kits include the waterproof Pool & Spa Water Chemistry: A Testing & Treatment Guide.

- Total Alkalinity: Drop test, blended indicator; 1 drop = 10 ppm as CaCO₃
- Sodium Chloride (Salt): Argentometric titration; 1 drop = 200 ppm NaCl
- Free & Combined Chlorine: FAS‑DPD drop test; 1 drop = 0.2 or 0.5 ppm
- Cyanuric Acid (CYA): Turbidimetric visual test; 30–100 ppm scale
- Calcium Hardness: EDTA titration with metal‑interference inhibitors; 1 drop = 10 ppm as CaCO₃
- pH with Acid/Base Demand: Phenol red comparator; 7.0–8.0
