With its thick glass walls and sturdy construction, this bottle/flask is perfect for filtering large volumes of liquid. The thick walls and design enables this flask to withstand vacuum filtration without imploding.
A vacuum can be applied in 5-minute intervals. When restarting the vacuum, make sure to release the current vacuum to ensure proper pressure management. The pressure of the air that is removed should never exceed 758 mm Hg at any point in time.
The maximum vacuum is 25 microns of Hg.
