Light-gathering lucite prism provides sub-stage illumination, without the need for electricity, by using ambient or room light. 40x magnification is provided by a widefield 10x eyepiece and 4x objective. Tilt mechanism enables users to adjust the angle of the viewing tube while slides are held securely in place by spring-loaded stage clips.
