Each piece of polarizing film is mounted in a rigid plastic slide frame similar in size to a traditional 35 mm photographic slide. The outer frame measures approximately 2" × 2", while the internal window contains a piece of polarizing film measuring about 36 mm × 24 mm. This format protects the film, provides a clean handling edge, and makes the slides easy to use for classroom demonstrations, optical experiments, and polarization studies.
