VanGuard fluorescence microscopy filter sets are optimized to maximize emission collection and minimize optical degradation by using specialized optical polishing and anti-reflective coatings. Filters are available for single and multi-dye applications and for common and specialty fluorophores.
Exciters: High performance bandpass filters with reflective metal layers are tolerant to intense excitation sources
Dichroics: Hard surfaces are coated
Emitters: Anti-reflective coatings minimize back reflection and enhance transmission typically to 90%.
